My name is Marah and I’m currently the Arts and Entertainment Editor for The Jambar and co-editor of the YO Magazine. I’m an aspiring journalist, creative writer and photographer, and I’m hoping to pursue a career in those fields as well as serving as a voice for others.

In addition to writing for The YO Magazine, I am the managing editor of The Jambar and enjoy fiction writing on the side. I like telling stories in different ways, being with family and friends, traveling and outside activities. I hold three state titles and one national title in pageants. I will be representing USA in Panama this upcoming October.
Hi, my name is Nami. I am originally from Fukoka in Japan. I have a passion for news reporting and love discovering things. By involving myself in a lot of international organizations, I’ve found many interesting perspectives from various cultural backgrounds. Meeting people from various backgrounds has allowed me to write stories from some unique views of life.
I am currently a Junior at Youngstown State University, pursuing a major in Journalism, with a minor in Spanish. I reside in Canfield, Ohio and am an avid portrait photographer. My hobbies include reading and listening to bops. My favorite artists are Modern Baseball and Cicada Rhythm. I also have an unhealthy infatuation with hot sauce, and I keep an assortment of honey in my room, for herbal teas.
